Daimler PAI stands for Daimler ProActive Infrastructure and defines a Daimler standard technology platform to help all their business units to focus on their business and not on technology needs. So they have a working platform for common problems like Authentication and Authorisations or any integrations into the corporate security.
You have the requirement to integrate your application in the Daimler Corporate Network. From the basic requirement this means you need to integrate authentication and authorisations, which contains:
- single sign on (SSO) logins
- password management
- central managed permissions to be able to use applications
- central managed permissions for permissions in a specific application
All have one in common, they use a centrally managed Identity and Access management platform, which is mostly defined under Daimler PAI.
Why should you use Daimler PAI?
From the initial idea it was introduced to reduce the costs for new projects and especially the business units who invest into the digital transformation. So if you plan a new JavaEE application PAI is mandatory for the new application.
But not all employees know about PAI?
This is true, since many employees do not need to know the technologies behind their application. Or do you know which technology is used per car model how the combustion in the engine is done?
So you need to ask the employees differently, if you ask about SSO or about logins you will hear in the corporate environment:
- Daimler login
- Daimler web login
- Mercedes bank login
- login Daimler
- Mercedes login
- Mercedes benz login
- Daimler PAI login
- TIPS login
- Mercedes web login
- Daimler web login intranet
- Daimler supplier portal
- Daimler portal login
- daimler who is who portal
- daimler employee portal
- and many more
